| A Dramatic Book Cover |
Here is a very unusual cover. I don't recall seeing one just like this. It catches your attention. The book, Cosmic Trends by Philip Brown, is published by Llewellyn, one of my favorite publishers. It's a very arresting cover. Personally, I'm not sure I like the colors or the busyness of the cover, but it does stand out. What are your thoughts on this cover? Does it help sell the book? I think I would like it more if the text were in a more modern, thicker font, maybe a sans serif type as well. I like the design but I think the more traditional typeset weakens the overall effect.
If the cover is one that is consistant with what appeals to the potential market segment I say go for it.
I've yet to buy a book because of the cover art.
