Create a Membership Website in Two Hours - Cheap!

My friend Daniel Hall has just put together a set of four video tutorials that show you how to set up a membership website using a WordPress blog and a few simple plug-ins. In the videos, he shows you everything you need to know to create the website in a couple of hours.

His tutorial program only costs $19.95 for a quick download from ClickBank: http://bookexpert.wpprofit.hop.clickbank.net.

Compare that cost to the cost of creating a membership website using MemberGate. Yes, it has all the bells and whistles but it also costs from $4000 to over $15,000, depending on the bells and whistles.

Compare that to Amember membership software, which costs around $300. Not bad that. But it's clunky with a steep learning curve.

With Daniel's simple WordPress system, you can start accepting payments right away using PayPal (or your own shopping cart), email members from within the membership site, see which members are on the site at any time, and offer exclusive member content at different paying levels. Included with the course is an ongoing newsletter that offers WordPress tips, tricks, and insider details for making a WordPress membership website incredibly profitable. You can sign up for the free newsletter at: http://bookexpert.wpprofit.hop.clickbank.net.

Who will win? Congratulations President Obama!

Well, as noted below, I was wrong on some points. I really didn't think the popular vote would be as close as it was. It looks like a 4 to 5% victory rather than the 10% victory I predicted. But Obama did win the electoral college by a margin well over 50 points. So, already, the media is declaring the victory a landslide (AP).

A lot closer than I predicted for actual votes. Definitely not a landslide. But a true victory, nonetheless. Including his coattail effect in helping a number of Democrats to win previously Republican seats.

====

I thought I should go on the record before tonight's election results come in. I've been predicting to my friends and family that Obama would win by 10 percentage points in the popular vote. My guess is that he will also win the electoral college by at least 50 votes.

While that's not an official landslide, it will be proclaimed as such by almost every media.

With the Democrats winning more Senate and House seats, it could become an interesting four years.

I voted for Obama. I told people in January that I would vote for Obama or Hillary if either won the primaries. Not because I necessarily agree with all their liberal views (I'm primarily conservative with very libertarian leanings), but because I believe it's time for this country to have a black or woman president. Us white men are rapidly becoming a minority even in the halls of Congress (not yet there, but probably soon).

That's probably a good thing. I believe in diversity of opinions. The more people who have a say in how things are run, the more likely it is that we will come up with new and perhaps effective solutions to the problems we have in our country.

Now I say that knowing that government is rarely the answer to societal problems. I believe individual and group creativity are the answers to the problems that might come our way.

Regardless of how you voted today, I do hope you have a prosperous four years coming up. I do believe that we are turning the corner already.

Welcome, President Barack Obama!

The next post will again return to the world of marketing and publishing books.
